Payme, a leading company in Uzbekistan's fintech industry, attracts over 11,6 million users with its convenient and efficient payment solutions. Since its establishment in 2012 and the launch of its main product – a mobile application in 2016, Payme continues to streamline financial transactions for its clients. In April 2019, TBC acquired a 51% stake in Payme for $5.5 million, valuing the company at $10.8 million. In May 2023, TBC Group Uzbekistan purchased the remaining 49% of Payme's shares, valued at $113.6 million, affirming its leadership in the region's fintech industry.

What you will be working with:

  • Defining the analytical needs of the team and ensuring that the necessary data is collected in production.
  • Determining optimal metrics and approaches for data analysis, testing hypotheses, and analyzing various processes/products.
  • Creating dashboards and reports for the product team and stakeholders.
  • Analyzing product metrics, finding growth points and problematic stages in the customer journey, identifying problems and user needs, proposing hypotheses and solutions.
  • Planning, launching, and analyzing experiments.
  • Continuous interaction with product owners, designers, developers, and UX researchers.
  • Reporting directly to the business lead and product analytics lead.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a product/data analyst.
  • Good understanding of product metrics, funnels, and basic statistical principles.
  • Proven experience in analyzing A/B test results.
  • Experience with event-based product analytics systems (Amplitude, Mixpanel, PostHog).
  • Confident in SQL for data extraction and processing.
  • Analytical mindset, product and user focus.
  • B1/B2 level of English for team communication and documentation reading.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to simplify complex decisions and present ideas to the team.
  • Strategic and business-oriented thinking, ability to make decisions based on experience and data.
  • Organized and attentive to detail, ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Multitasking and ability to adapt to rapid changes in work.
  • Openness and willingness to consider different points of view.
  • Experience using online services in fintech, e-commerce, social networks, communications, navigation, media, etc.

Will be a plus:​​​​​​​
• Experience with Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
